Irish Half Uncial

Also called Insular Majuscule or Insular Miniscule, this script was taught to the Anglo-Saxon students traveling to the Celtic land. The Book of Kells is an excellent example of Irish Half Uncial, which is distinctively an ornate and decorative book hand. The script existed between the 6th and 9th centuries.
