Excel

Date Due: November 23, 1999

CASE 1 E4.35 – Illustrating Production Data at TekStar Electronics

Follow instructions on the book (Text 2), except for:

Step 2 – Save the Chart on a new sheet, not on the Units Sold Page. Save it with a meaningful name.

Step 5 – As always, select any font other than Arial. Also, the font must be changed for the whole workbook (not just the chart sheet). Then, select a larger size for the Title of the chart.

Step 6 – Do NOT name your chart sheet "3D Pie Chart". As you have already seen, this is not a meaningful name. It could refer to any of the three columns, and your pie chart refers only to the CD players produced. Besides, you have already chosen a name for it on step 2.

Step 7 – Do NOT submit a print copy of your chart.

Step 9 – Show you know how to make nice looking charts. Be creative!

Step 10 – Do NOT submit a print copy of your chart.

Step 11b – Again, do NOT submit a print copy of your chart, but do assign a meaningful name to it.

Step 13 – Design the headers and footers FOR THE WHOLE WORKBOOK as you wish, but make sure you at least include:

Step 14 – Go back to the Title Sheet, and add an Index of your worksheets. Make sure the charts appear in the same order as you made them, after the Units Sold sheet.

Step 15 – Email the URL of your assignment (see Assignment Drop Box).
